The 2023 edition of the This Is England Festival ended on a very positive note, with a new attendance record. 23,000 festival-goers and full houses in our partner cinemas Kinepolis Rouen and Cinéma Omnia République! Thousands and thousands of schoolchildren and 60 partner cinemas benefited from the Festival's expansion throughout Normandy.
A big well done to Fanny Popieul for her magnificent programme of 58 short films in a great competition. The creation of the new YOUNG AUDIENCE PRIZE also proved popular with families. The 70 British professionals present throughout the festival praised the quality of the discussions, the warm welcome and the conviviality of the festival. This success is the fruit of the commitment of the ROUEN NORWICH CLUB's passionate volunteers and of all our PARTNERS who have placed their trust in us and supported the British Short Film Festival, some of them since its creation in 2012.
